Sykes @ Subic

June 23. Saturday. I’m all set (actually it’s “we are”) for a company getaway in Subic. Sadly, I’m not feeling well. I have a fever on that time. But again, it doesn’t stop me to come and enjoy the outing. After all, it’s free!

We arrived at the hotel at around 2pm. Ate lunch, Rest then sleep. (My fever just won’t stop). Woke up @ around 6pm. I need to take the company bus to get to the event proper where dinner and programme is waiting.

Off the bus. I arrive at the boardwalk, locate my colleagues then have our dinner. (I can’t taste the food!) Took pictures of the Winston Models, Took pictures of the perfomers backstage. Then the program
itself.

The stage set-up is not as good as last year. Even the lighting is not good. Gives me a hard time to take good shots (I didn’t even know if I have one).

Performance of Kamikazee is good enough. It’s not good as last year but I can cope to that (thanks to Jay’s funny antics).

Of course, a party is not a party without those gorgeous dancers from G-girls and The hosting combination of Asia Agcaoili and DJ Mo Twister.

After the programme comes DJ Manolet. With a twist of techno and trance and heart pounding bass, we partied all night long (with the dancers, of course!). I also tried to talk with their manager and was able to have a deal. (sorry, i won’t be tellin you guys)

We got back at the hotel @ 1pm. Still not feeling well. But no! there is a house party designated for our account. And yeah, it’s party time again baby!

I decided to call it a day at 2am Sunday. I want to get up early and go home. Tried to set my cellphone @ 6:30… I woke up at 8. Geez!

Took breakfast all by myself. My colleagues are still sleeping. Drunk, and just slept after the sun had already risen.

Good thing my manager wants to go home early and she’s residing in Las Piñas. (Yipee! free ride home)

It took us 3 hours to get home.

Do I still have a fever? Yes.
